Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights 33

Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights 33

Halloween Horror Nights awaits at Universal Studios Florida.

Terrifying screams will engulf Universal Studios as the park celebrates its thirty-third frightful year of Halloween Horror Nights. Fearless guests can find thrills at 10 new haunted houses, five scare zones, and exclusive shows.

HHN 33 will run on select nights from August 30 to November 3, 2024. Here’s a look at some of the attractions that await you at HHN this year.

2024 Halloween Horror Nights Haunted Houses

Each year, Universal Orlando designs terrifying haunted houses based on popular horror franchises. Here are the terrors HHN has in store for you this year.

A Quiet Place

Whatever you do, don’t make a sound. Inspired by the hit films “A Quiet Place” and “A Quiet Place: Part II,” you’ll need to stay deadly silent as you explore this house, lest you be heard by murderous, monstrous creatures. Get ready to explore this post-apocalyptic universe in total silence, lest you be silenced for good.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire

This house catapults you into the world of the new “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” film. This bone-chilling experience teams you up with the Ghostbusters to save the world from a second ice age. Meanwhile, Garraka, a new specter, is trying to destroy your mission with an army of ghosts and spears of ice. This house is so scary, it will have you frozen in your tracks.

Insidious: The Further

Inspired by the Insidious franchise, this house transports you into another dimension filled with tortured ghosts and demons. As you walk through the film’s iconic red doors, you’ll delve further and further into a paranormal world of evil, constantly pursued by the Red-Faced Demon. Do your best to escape before your soul is trapped in the dark and timeless astral world for good.

Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines

Classic Universal monsters are on everyone’s mind now that they’ve announced the reveal of Dark Universe with the highly anticipated opening of Epic Universe in 2025. This Hhouse throws you into the world of an all-female assemblage of iconic monsters. The Bride of Frankenstein and Saskia Van Helsing have teamed up to fight off Countess Marya, Dracula’s daughter, who is out for revenge against Van Helsing, who happens to be her father’s killer. Will you escape or get caught in the crossfire?

Monstruous: The Monsters of Latin America

Guided by La Muerte, you’ll be face-to-face with some of Latin America’s most legendary, terrifying monsters. From the blood-sucking Tlahuelpuchi to the bone-ripping El Silbón, you’ll be begging for mercy by the end of your tour.

Slaughter Sinema 2

If gory B-movie horror films are your jam, you’ll love Slaughter Sinema 2. Head to the Carey Drive-in to scream your way through scenes from some of the gnarliest creature features, spaghetti westerns, and other unsightly horror genres.

The Museum: Deadly Exhibits

If a quiet, creepy museum has ever sent shivers up your spine, maybe you were onto something…this haunted house takes you through a new folklore exhibit, The Rotting Stone, until an evil escapes from within and destroys everything in its path.

Major Sweets Candy Factory

Not to be confused with other kid-friendly candy moguls, Major Sweets has something sinful up his sleeve. You’ll be chaperoning a field trip to his candy factory, but things start to turn sour when the kids are transformed into candy-coated killers after ingesting some wickedly sweet free samples.

Goblin’s Feast

You’ve been invited to dinner in a goblin village full of bloodthirsty goblins, orcs, hobgoblins, and witches. The twist? You’re not just a guest: you’re on the menu.

Triplets of Terror

The Barmy triplets are celebrating their birthday with a bloody bash. Put aside any expectations you may have for a typical birthday party, because the entertainment for the evening is a violent recreation of their family’s murders.

The Fear Doesn’t Stop There

Mel's Drive-In becomes Mel's Die-In for Halloween Horror Nights. If you thought you could walk from one haunted house to the next in peace, you are terribly mistaken.

During Halloween Horror Nights 33, you’ll find five sinister scare zones scattered around Universal Studios. Scareactors roam through the foggy streets, ready to spook guests. This year, watch out for gruesome swamp zombies, medieval torture devices, and demon queens.

Other Fun Halloween Horror Nights 33 Activities

When you want a break from screaming, enjoy some epically eerie entertainment at two live shows, full of sinfully spectacular special effects and feats of bravery.

While you’re in the park for Halloween Horror Nights 33, you can also experience exhilarating Universal Studios rides and attractions at night. It’s a great time to ride your favorite coasters and explore the park, since lines are typically a little shorter while other guests are focused on HHN.

End Your Night at a Comfortable Orlando Hotel

After a terrifying night at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights 33, escape to a peaceful hotel room at Rosen Plaza.

Located on International Drive, Rosen Plaza provides affordable luxury and great amenities. The hotel is conveniently close to Universal Orlando and top restaurants, bars, and attractions. Rest your head knowing you’ve escaped the monsters and ghouls of HHN 33…
